Adrift, from developer Three One Zero, is a beautiful upcoming game that has you play an astronaut drifting through the wreckage of a spacecraft and trying to figure out what happened. The developers are dubbing their game an “FPX,” or First-Person Experience, which they hope will become a new genre. All of their future games will be FPXs as well. As a fan of games like Dear Esther, I am really excited for this. If there is a reason to get an Oculus Rift, it’ll be this game.
This game looks like the video game version of Coraline and I need to play it now. From LittleBigPlanet co-developer Tarsier Studios.
